Bookmark Manager does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All operations are performed locally in your browser.
Bookmarks are managed through the Chrome Bookmarks API. Data (URLs, titles, folder structure) remains on your device and is never sent to third parties.
The extension uses browser localStorage to save your theme preference (light/dark/auto). Click history (which bookmarks you open in this manager, and when) is stored locally in IndexedDB on your device. This data is not sent to any server and is used only to show click stats and to help you archive unused bookmarks.
The extension requests the bookmarks permission so it can display, create, edit, move, and archive bookmarks on the New Tab page. It does not request access to browsing history, identity, or the network.
